Night Mode for Anki 2.1.x (PC).
If You use Anki 2.0.x – the instruction is here.
If You would like to enjoy the night mode in Your Anki (on PC and maybe also on Mac):
- Select from the program's menu: "Tools/Add-ons".
- You'll see the window entitled "Add-ons" – click "Get Add-ons…" button.
- In the next window You’ll find a "Code" field. Copy the following code:
1496166067
and paste it into this field, then click "OK". - Close this window and restart the program.
- After that You should see a new menu called "View". If You don't see a darkened interface yet - use the option from menu: "View/Night Mode/Enable night mode". For the better effect use also "View/Night Mode/Enable in dialogs" - which makes the darkening more complex.
- If You'd like to have different colors of the background and text - use this: "View/Night Mode/Set background color" or "View/Night Mode/Set text color".

As a curiosity: here You will find many others plug-ins for Anki:
