Anki - how to change the interface language.
Anki is a powerful tool to learn languages or something else by heart. Maybe at some point You would like to change the interface language - and You won't find a proper option to do it both in program's menu and settings.
However this is still possible without a need to re-install Anki. But there is one important thing: after this procedure Anki resets its settings so You will need to setup everything from scratch (mainly to enter username ("AnkiWeb ID") and password again and do the synchronization with the server in order to download all Your decks).
To change Anki's interface language:
- If You have the Anki running - close it.
- Find and delete the file called "prefs.db" - it is located in the "C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\AppData\Roaming\Anki2" folder both on PC.
- Run Anki again - You should see a window of language selection. Select the language You want and confirm by the "OK" button.
That's all :) .
