An early dinner.
Recent night was a little bit hard: I got to bed not feeling well, but with the hope that I would fall asleep and this way feel better at least relatively soon. Unfortunately this was not the case: I woke up and felt asleep several times, each time feeling kind of worse than before, so that finally I've decided to take a pill to feel better.
I was going to begin the day somewhere around 9 or 10 am., but next time I was awake was much earlier. Since I finally felt better I've decided to prepare a dinner (yeah, a pretty early version of it ;) ).
I started with French Toasts (a great way to refresh bread, rolls, etc.), and in the meantime I prepared portobello mushrooms(500g) for further frying. When I did the toasts, I began to stew the mushrooms (in a covered frying pan) - and on the other burner I placed a pot with four 100g bags of jasmine rice, for 18min. of intense cooking, turning them to the other side after 9 minutes. I deliberately used a relatively small amount of flavored water (two cubes of onion stock + "Mediterranean Herbs"), in order for it to moisturize My concept a little.
When the rice was ready, I moved it out, opened their containers and moved back into the pot with the stock, adding the mushrooms and mixing all of this a little bit. Then I started to fry frozen vegetables (750g), also completely covered, stirring them once for a while.
The other day I had the impression that this particular product could be done pretty quickly - this time I've decided to check it out with the stopwatch and discovered that, indeed, the vegetables were done in about 23 minutes (while the whole cooking, i.e. toasts + dinner, were about 2 hours, 16 minutes).
